Good G+ android communities?

Any recomendations? I notice Rob started a Phandroid one but it isnt being used yet :(
I recommend Rooted Samsungs for samsung owners. A buddy on G+ started it a few weeks ago and he's really easy going but wont tolerate bad/stupid/dangerous advice. No question is too stupid though :thumbup:

I use Samsung Galaxy S3 community too but some of the potentially phone-lethal advice given there is rediculous. This is why a site with structure like AF can be better :)
 
I use a few of the rooted Note II communities and the AIX community.

I thought about the pencil sketching one but clearly I'm not that good of an artist yet.
 
G+ really helped us the other night. Our cat fell out the 3rd floor window at 1.30am and i put up a post asking for help. People reposted it and within 10mins i was chatting to a vet! I think that was amazing. People are so helpful :)
Whats AIX btw mate?

That's pretty cool. Is the cat ok?

AIX is IBM's Unix OS. I'm an enterprise server engineer specializing in AIX.
 
Wow way over my head :) yeah we got her to vet in the morning n she got xrayed. Amazingly she hadnt broken anything other than some ligament damage :) she still can walk though.. think itl take time :)

That's good news.
My ex and I had 5 cats. She had 3 when we met then I adopted 2 strays I found in my yard.
They can be very expensive.

1 has a degenerative tooth problem.
1 has a kidney that's too small and the other doesn't work well. We had to give her a saline solution under her skin twice a week and we all hated it. We eventually switched to putting water in her food, so she had to drink the water before eating. It worked very well.

Another one has IBS. We had to give him prednisone twice a week. It cost me $1200 to find that out via surgery.
 
Two communities i dont like are Cyanogen and AOKP.. its seriously like being on XDA sometimes and the "noob"-flaming is horrendous :)

I use G+ mostly for animal rights concerns as Facebook keeps trying to serve up hunting/meat-laden 'suggestions' for some reason (for some reason G+ does a better job with its targeted ads system). but i have stumbled on some many open and friendly Android pages via the 'What's Hot' section which i use as my default feed. a few of my AR friends are also devout Android fans and post often. Peter Teoh is one of them. he's probably the biggest Android fan on G+ from his posting frequency.

So does anyone know if/when the AF community is gona go live? Ive already joined it. Ive always said i would never wana guide/mod on AF site but i wouldnt mind doing it on their g+ community :)
 
there are dozens of 'Smitty Smiths'. which is you? i'm the same name there as i am here just add me. their search still sucks. half the people i try to add never show up. you'll recognize me as Daisy Deer is one of my profile pics. i don't get on G+ as often as i used to as the only devices that have a usable version are my phone and tablet, and my tablet is not at my home because a creepy bunch of folks moved in near me and i worry about it being stolen.

Nick Dalzell is my real name. i'm not the tinfoil hat type. i just hate knowing the police are tracking my position, hence, root and buh bye E911. perhaps i just watch too much NCIS. but darn if it is one of my favorite shows. it's like a much lighter, funnier CSI. the only time i divert is in games. on gaming i'm always Deerlover1. that was an old AOL login that i used for games long time ago. it just kinda stuck.

Lol it uses the name you gave yourself on google. On youtube now when i leave a comment it gives me the name Smity Smith even though my youtube channel is Funkylogik.
Smity is my nickname since i was 5 :)

i know, the multiple entries are also a problem on Facebook. mine is the only one with a deer profile pic though

I wasn't aware Funkylogic was a real name though. perhaps that he is already using his real name?

Deerlover1 is only my gaming handle. i use my real name everywhere else.
 
i got no notification you added me Pool. and my list of circles is the same. I'll check in four hours. stupid Google must have went down again.

EDIT: it was hidden. the notification was there i was just not alerted to it. weird. it normally has a number badge when i get one and my tritone message alert goes off.
