**Good Tips for stock ROMs**

So after spending 2 days of trying to figure out how I could theme a stock ROM, I have finally figured it out Instead of trying to deodex the .apk's I just simply decompiled the .apk and changed the images I wanted then I opened the original .apk with winrar and dropped the images in there and it worked successfully Now I know that it is possible to make themes for stock odexed ROMs it can give us an opportunity to go out and make themes for the people who are patiently waiting for something to come their way I have not attempted to try this method with the XML files yet, but when I do I will update this post and let y'all know if it was successful. I was completely shocked that this worked and it might be somewhere else on the internet and if it is, I never found it

Hmm, I didn't know that. I've always flashed deodexed for this very reason. Never know when you might want a theme or other mod that doesn't do well with odexed.

I would have deodexed the apk's but I wasn't able to find the necessary tools so I improvised and got this working. The phone I am making the theme for hasn't had any custom kernels or ROMs yet so I was asked to make a theme for them (not expecting it to work). I was shocked that it actually worked
