Well recently I posted something about a contest I was hosting and that I needed help with my new forum site..
Guess what?

You guys deleted it. I made you my daily forum use and read and contributed to a good amount of threads.

So now I'm removing my account because no admin/moderator is considerate anymore and is power-hungry on this site.

So goodbye all!

I don't know details as to why the thread was deleted so it's hard to comment, was a reason given? out of curiosity which mod was it?

There are certain mods here I don't like and do tend to force their point of view, but for the most part they do a great job at keeping the peace here.

... but yet you've made no mention of trying to contact them and trying to figure out what's REALLY going on and WHY it was removed but instantly assume that the staff is all power-hungry?!?

Not knowing the thread in question and no longer being a member of staff I can't help but say that this "defense" is overrated and overused! The thread could have been removed by accident. It could have been reported as a spam site by another user and still in the process of being reviewed. It could have... it could have... but by not contacting staff you have NO idea what is REALLY going on and instantly BLAME someone else for it.

... good luck with that and adios...!

The details are that you were starting your forum, asking our members to join there.

I quote the deleted post -

It is a forum just like this forum...

And along with that, promised to create a contest for new members to win a $15 gift card, while warning site admin here that that was not spam.

Lots of people come here trying to siphon off our members for their own forum and spam offers, and then expect us to cheer them on while they use us for free advertising.

The only victims here were going to be our members, not the OP.

The post in question was in violation of specific wording of the Site Rules and Guidelines that everyone agrees to when joining up here.

The charge by someone belly-aching that mods are bad because of not getting free advertising for spam is nothing short of laughable.
