Goodbye Nexus One

I have to think it's something with your account if you took a stock Nexus out of the box, popped in the SIM and couldn't send or receive MMS. I just tried sending a pic to my wife's phone (Samsung Eternity) and then sending one back to me and no problem at all.

I also had you in mind when I was speaking to the google tech, I asked him about screen burn in and he told me that so far there didn't seem to be a big issue with it (this came up when we were talking about google navigation and how I would love to see the notification bar dissappear), as in there hasn't been a high warrenty rate regarding the screen. But considering the amount of N1's that doesn't surprise me too much.

I also think an average user who is not on the forums etc would not notice for a while anyway. I only checked my phone for burn by looking at landscape on a white background after reading it on here.

maybe its your apn settings its weird because the default apn settings my nexus one sets are wrong and every page i try to go to is blocked but it works fine when i change the settings. its extremely weird because apps like pandora are able to use data but everything is blocked on the browser. anyways my mms doesnt work if i dont set the mms port in the apn to 80. id try that if you havent already

I agree - having something not working on a great phone is irritating. I can still neither send nor receive MMS- o2 here in the UK did try and I could on my old Nokia.
It's not something I use much but its like an itch that won't go away :D
