Help Google Account no longer works

After jail breaking my phone I can't connect with any Google apps, I keep getting a no connection error and everything else works, iv tried everything and now I cant re-link my Google account with my phone, help please

How did you root it, and what device is it? Being rooted doesn't interfere with Google access, so it must be something else got messed-up in the process, so the more information you can supply the better.

Also, can you connect to the Internet otherwise? And do you have the problem when using WiFi as well as mobile data?

("jailbreak" is iPhones btw)

I used kingroot and I am able to access the internet, and jailbreak and root at pretty much the same thing, now your just splitting hairs

And I'm using an alcatel one touch evolve 2

I got my Google account re linked to my device, but the play store and YouTube,(also gmail) still won't connect

Kingroot is pretty much horrible in my experience. My advice would be to undo the changes it made (in my case that ultimately meant a full reset) and install a proper root to see whether that all by itself fixes the problem.

Root works fine, I can use Supersu and use root apps

Which root apps exactly? Also no, rooting and jailbreaking aren't the same thing at all.

Yeah...I was able to use root apps, it was other apps that started experiencing issues.
