Google account won't sign in.

I recently changed my password due to possible hacking. And now my google account on my phone wont sign on with the new password. I can sign into gmail and other google services with my new password on my computer just fine but not on my phone. I can use gmail and g talk on my phone but not google play, and every so often I get the sign on error in my notification bar (orange triangle with exclamation point). I have restarted the phone, but didn't help...

I had the same problem and had to end up doing a factory reset to solve the problem.

Before doing a factory reset, try clearing your systems cache first as described here:

I've got the same problem on my Droid X. After one hour on the phone with Tech support I ended up resetting to the factory. Unfortunately the problem was still there. So I created a new gmail account and that solved the problem.
After I changed my phone I tried with the old gmail account but unsuccessful.
