Hi there, i am new with android and my problem (?) is:
i am trying to register my google acount in order to use Android market and i receive allways the error message, sorry your phone is unable to stablish a secure conection to the servers or something like that.
My Experia is no rooted nor twisted and has the following: Kernel 2.6.29; Base band 2.0.46; Firmware 2.1 update 1; compilation 2.0.a.0.504 I Do not have 3G. just wiffi and is working fine

what country are you in? is Google / android market supported in your country?

you could also try to create your google account on a PC... then use that user id to loggin to your phone.
 
By Google account, you mean your Gmail account? Did you activate the phone in the first place using a Google account or did you skip that? WHen you turn it on first, thats the first thing it asks you to do.

I am in Mexico, yes i have a Gmail account that i can log in in the pc with no problem
Yes I have wifi 4 mb at home working in the phone with no problem
I have the gmail aaccount in my Xperia
