I've experienced my battery life being reduced about the time I installed the Google+ app. Then a few days ago, I accidently ran my task killer. After that, my battery life returned to normal.
I'm not sure if it had anything to do with Google+ or some other app. It does appear that some rogue task may have been eatin up my battery life. I recall that it happened around the time I installed Google+, so it appeared to be Google+ that caused the quick drain on my battery. It was pretty bad. I wake up to a fully charged phone. I drive to work and I already lost a bar. Then I turn my phone off as I don't have it on while I'm at work. I turn it on after work and it lost 2 bars. I'm pretty sure that I didn't install anything other than Google+ at the time. The battery drain continued even though I did a restart of the phone.
The only thing that fixed it was running the task killer. I was playing around with my home screens and decided to see what the task killer widget does. It was just an icon. I tapped on it thinking it would bring up the app. Instead, it started killing all of my tasks. I then remove the widget. The next day, I noticed my battery lasts longer again, like it did before installing Google+. It's been fine for the past few days since I ran the task killer.
