Ive got both google+ and Messenger apps on my phone and both are just the same... ive just noticed that ... Any idea why its like that and if its exactly the same how to remove it?
The messenger is a shortcut to the messenger section of Google+ - you can't remove it but you can hide it by pressing menu in the app drawer and tapping "hide apps"
