Google apps not working

So on my phone the majority of google apps say there is no connection to the WiFi even though i am connected to WiFi. This mainly happens on google play. I'd there a fix?

1.Are you using a custom rom?
If yes , do a data and cache wipe and try flashing different gapps.
If no, (using official firmware) then go to settings -> apps -> all : search for Google play Services and clean data do the same with the google apps that aren´t working. I hope this helps I had this error on custom roms mainly.

I have tried this and factory reset my phone and still nothing

Do you have a carrier mobile data connection? If so , use it to check for any Google Play Store and Google Services for updates in Google Play Store.
Some times the device cache can be really full if it hasn't been cleared for a while. Try clearing your cache and data in Google Play Store and Google Services. Then reboot your device and try to repeat what you was doing with the WiFi connection enabled.

Have u got them working before ? or u bought the phone from someone ? what kind of phone is this ? (u should describe the phone so we can help clearly)

The phone I use is a doogee x5 pro and I bought it new. It runs android 5.1 and before this it was a brilliant phone

Chinese phone, Doogee are not usually distributed much outside of China AFAIK. Is it a pucker international version, or a PRC version with Google added by someone else, like the vendor? Where did you buy it, online and shipped from Hong Kong or something?
Don't know what to make of the Doogee really.
This it from their Chinese site, it shows as having Play Store and Gmail, but it's also got Weibo, which is a Chinese only service, as well as the weather for Shenzhen.

"Play Shop"??...shouldn't that be "Play Store"? What does the OP's Doogee state for that?

Doogee phones are sold all over Europe. My friends haven't got problems with this phone but i don't really like these chinese models

Actually i can't find anything about this phone and google services not connecting I'm really sorry.
Does Google apps connect when using cellular data, 3G/4G, or is the problem on the WiFi only
