Google apps

Hi, I've just got an Archos 10 and I want to download apps. But when I go to the market page and choose an app to download, I 'm told I can't because there are no Android devices registered to my Google ID (a Gmail address).

I've searched for where I register it, but can't find it. Any one help?

If you havent already done so, create a gmail account on the internet and then go into your phones set up wizard. It should be an automatic set up from there (with prompts) you can create an account from within your phone.

Your phone needs a google account to access the market

Are you saying that Google Apps are only available phone users? I have an Archos 10 tablet with Android 2.3.
