Help Google Arch pops up randomly

I have a Droid Maxx running Android Version 4.4.4.

I have a cracked screen, which is fine for the moment. It doesn't cause me any issues using it, as it is a small crack.

however, one thing that is happening that I would like to find a way to make it stop, is that Google Arch that pops up from the bottom, does it randomly while texting.

It seems to also occur with noise or certain motions from the phone.

I've tried to find ways to disable this all together, or turn off any apps or features that may cause the noise and motions to make it pop up.

Ideally, I'd just like to make it stop coming up at all, seeing as how I don't use it.

Any suggestions?

Yes, I think that may be what it is called... it is a ring that comes up and displays the word GOOGLE. It pops up while I'm texting ... I believe it is now doing this because I cracked the screen. I'm OK with the screen cracked, I can still use the phone... I just want to disable that thing from popping up. It also appears to come up with random motions.

Yeah I know the thing you're talking about lol and it probably is to do with the cracked screen.
I think though that it's only active while using the onscreen nav (recents, home and back) buttons so if your phone has offscreen capacitive buttons, switch to them.
If not, I think you're stuck with it unless someone knows what apk (app) It's tied to that you could disable.
Maybe try disabling the Google search app?

Yeah I never really understood that feature tbh. Like when I first got my Nexus tab, I was like "wait is this like pie?".... and it wasn't lol.
Really a pointless "feature"
