Help Google Assistant No Longer On My Nexus 5X

So I was using my Nexus 5X earlier today and noticed I had gotten the Google Assistant (finally) and used it for a bit, took a nap and when I woke up, instead of the Google Assistant, Google Now on tap was opening instead. Has anything similar happened to you guys..?

That's pretty strange. What is your Language / Region set to at Settings > Languages & input > Languages?

Is it possible you changed what happens when you hold the home button?

Are you using any third-party launchers?
