Help Google assistant reminders not reminding

I'll set a reminder with the assistant, to remind me every day a a certain tine, the reminder will then reside in the reminders list, but I never get the reminder.
 
Update: I am now getting some reminder alerts, generated from my phone, but they only show up on my desktop, not on my phone, which would be far more useful for me. I used to get reminders on my phone.
