Hey,

I had this enabled on my Galaxy S3. Just upgraded to the Nexus 6 and I can't figure out how to get it to copy them back down to the new device.

It's really annoying because you can't view them when they're not on the device without an internet connection.

Also, how do I change the smiley button on the keyboard for the enter button. I use carriage returns in my messages but where the enter key should be is the smiley key.

Thanks

Hi, holding down the smiley button does nothing for me.

I've seen about pressing the shift key to change the smiley key to a return key, but I want the default to be a return key. And I seem to have to press the shift key twice to make it turn into a return key; pressing it once it flashes to a return key but then quickly flashes back to the smiley key. Pressing shift twice it stays as a return key, but once the return key is pressed it changes straight back to a smiley key.

1. In account settings, you should have Google+ Photos syncing active. Then go to the Photos app, not the Gallery app. Sign in to your Google+ account there. The photos should be now available through that app. You can also use that instead of Gallery, but it's a bit lacking in features IMO.

2. Depends on your keyboard. Some keyboards don't have that option. I use Swiftkey and it does have that option.

See if you have this option: settings>language & input>advanced options>show enter key

For me this makes the default a carriage return and a long press brings up the emoticons.

I am running a custom ROM on my device so I'm unsure whether this is a stock feature on my n5 or a custom ROM feature.
