Google Books not updating with Play

The Play Store, Movies, and Music apps all updated for me a coupe days ago all updates came within about an hour or so. But my Books still hasn't updated. I only use the app sparingly, but I'll be damned if it doesn't drive me nuts when i don't have any new shiny release that someone else has. Anyone else have this issue, or know of a way to update it manually? I've tried wiping data from both the play store, and the books app itself, no luck.

I noticed this. The update may be sitting there and it just hasn't applied. Go to the Market, access "My Apps" and look for Google Books. Tap it and in this screen it should allow you to open/uninstall. Instead it will show "Update." Just tap it and the update should begin. This had happened to me. All my other stuff had switched to their respective Play variant except for books until I manually updated it.

If it's not giving you the option to manually update, then just wait. On my XOOM all my apps had updated except for the market itself a few days ago. Now the market was replaced by "Play Store". The market remains unchanged on my Nexus. Patience.
