can some kindly help me with my nexus im having props downloading books i get the message after trying to download couldn't display book check your internet connection and try again .. can download other apps without any props this issue is also on my htcone x phone many thanks

Have you tried clearing data and cache in the books app. That often gets thing squared up in other apps.
