Root Google calendar sync fail

Hey,

So I am running ICS Helado, and unexpectedly had my google calendar fail to sync. I've tried to manually sync only to get " sync is currently experiencing problems. It will e back shortly" ( it has not been back). I tried uninstalling, re installing, freezing, unfreezing and wiping cache information.

Anyone else experience issues with this? any solves?

Give it time. This occasionally happens.

Try unsyncing from google account,going to data/data and deleting the calender, then wipe data & force the app close

Tried it again and again to no avail. Wonder if it's the helado ROM or what. I'm about to give up and flash some form of JB, if nothing else, this'll give me something new to bitch about.
