Hi all
Have noticed an odd problem when using check in.
When I use google plus and make a post and add my location, it puts it in perfectly and shows up to the correct circles.
When I checkin via a location/place I've found on the map it refuses to accept the circles I've chosen and posts it so no one can see it.
I only found out when I was updating for friends whilst away on a trip... did kinda wonder why no one was asking me about it or replying... turns out no one knew I was posting anything and thought I was having too good a time to share things.
Does anyone know why this is happening, I use the google maps quite a lot to find local places when away and it's far easier to hit the 'checkin' button than exit the map start G+ and then create a new post and go through the whole hassle of finding the place again... makes checkin kinda pointless... once you made a post you can't change the circles... so there are dozens of posts of interesting places I've been too these last few weeks that no one has been able to see.
