Google Checkout "stuck"

I recently tried to purchase SkyDroid golf app and am now stuck in authorizing/purchasing mode. I've searched the forums and found a few "dead" threads on the subject. I've been around with the developer and google checkout and no one seems to have the answer. The developer canceled the purchase but Market still lists it as a purchased app. So I can't re-download it. Any help here?

The only time that's happened to me it was because the credit card on file with Google had expired. I updated the CC information online and the purchase immediately went through.

This happened to me with a game. Sucks that I can't download it again.
