Help Google Chrome and Recent apps

When i try to close all my recent apps Google Chrome will not close. It stays persistent. I can't clear all it's grayed out when only Chrome is showing. Swiping does not work. Anyone having this problem or know why it's happening?

Did you accidentally pin in so that it won't be cleared? That's what the push pin icon does if you press it while showing all apps. You can tap it again to unpin the app and allow it to be cleared.
