Help Google Chrome default browser

I use chrome on my phone, however every time I open a link it asks me if I want to open it with chrome or explore. I choose chrome then a screen comes up and tells me how to change my default internet settings back to explorer and I hit ok. I have chosen chrome over a million times yet it keeps popping up with the same thing! Its really annoying! I hate explorer and don't want to use it.

Has anyone been able to fix this issue for good?

after you tap chrome? Isnt there a tab saying "always"?
What android version are you on? On 4.0 and above you can go in application manager and disable the other browser :thumbup:

I do hit always. Every time!!!! It still does it. I am running 4.2.1

You mention 'explorer'. Are you talking about the stock browser that comes with most android phones? 'Explorer' in my mind usually means Microsoft Internet Explorer, but I don't believe they make a browser for android.

Might not be possible, for some reason I can't disable the stock browser & I'm running the 4.2.2 leak (can disable everything else I've wanted to)

I assume the OP means 4.1.2 also.
