Not sure if everyone knows this, but in the Chrome browser (not stock Samsung one) you can swipe from the left/right side of the screen to the opposite side to quickly switch between tabs

is it just me, or is the chrome browser really not as smooth and fluid as the stock S3 browser?

Stock s3 browser has hardware acceleration, Chrome doesn't.

For me the difference is negligible.

The stock browser for me goes nuts when I'm trying to scroll around a text edit field; it was unusable, so I installed Chrome.
