My Google contacts keep getting all miss up and I keep getting multiple copies of the same contacts and some names get removed entirely?
Anyone else have this problem?

Help Google contacts issues

i had it where samsung contacts and google contacts were mixed in creating double contacts. i just merged any the same name and phone number.......never had any that was deleted though......that is odd.

I also had that problem in the past too, guessing it was just a fluke too.

I have one old device that does this, a ZTE 812 Maven 5.1.1
It has Google contacts, and also has a built in AT&T Contacts app.
I first noticed the issue when I disabled as much Google stuff on it as is possible, which is pretty much all of it.

I'm having this problem. It's bad. Can't find a fix.

You need to turn off any other contacts app on the device besides the one provided by Google, or pay attention when you store contacts as to how you want them to be stored- as a Google contact or device only contact.
