I just rooted last night and I am using Grdlock's "official 2.1" ROM. Everything works perfect except for the sync on Google Contacts. It was "syncing" all night long, but didn't pull over any of my contacts. If I turn on auto-sync for the contacts, it just syncs and syncs and syncs, draining the battery. I turned off the sync for contacts and exported my Google Contacts to a vCard format and then imported them to the phone.
Anyone else having this issue (or had this issue and fixed it) with the contacts? I did a search and didn't see anything that seemed to help, other than a guy saying that it just started working again.
