OK. New user here. Hello to you all.
Just got a Galaxy Y for my daughter. What a lovely Dad!
Trying to sync contacts to and from Gmail.
If I add a new contact to Gmail it syncs to the phone no problem. If I create a new contact on the phone, it doesn't sync to Gmail.
When I add a new contact it automatically gets saved to phone - it does not give me the option of saving it to the Google account, nor any chance of adding it to the Google account (unless I export to SIM and then import back in, creating a duplicate).
How do I get new contacts to default to Google account when I add them on my phone?
