Google currents

Any experience choppy, slow, laggy almost unresponsive at times use of Google currents on the N7?

This morning while browsing, it was almost unusable. I pulled out my note 10.1 (old edition) and loaded currents and it acted fine. On the ipad mini (first gen) smooth.

N7, sputtering stuttering and just annoying. Why the difference? Could it be 4.4.2 itself?

EDIT: on my nexus 5, 4.4.2, it runs smooth as well.

I find Currents crashes a lot, but I've never found it to be unresponsive. Have you tried clearing its cache and data?

Works smoothly on my N7 (2013 w 4.4.2).
