Google Doodle: Jules Verne (WTF?)

Today's google doodle is interactive. In a web browser, you can move the control on the right to move the image in the "submarine" view. I also noticed an article on this doodle that claims it uses the accelerometer on iOS devices to move the image as well. Is it just me, or does it seem like Google overlooked another smartphone OS that should have been a no-brainer?

That is odd that Google gave the interactive part Apple iOS support but not Android support. So very odd....
