Hi All...
Having significant problems with my "other" phone (Epic 4G) with things I used to be able to clear up with certain methods but can't at the moment. I'm hoping to AVOID a factory reset
Sync of my calendar is causing the Google Framework and/or Google Process "gapps" to force quit / close. Previously I was able to clear data in the Contacts, Calendar and/or Gmail app, resync the phone with my gmail account online or, however necessary, reload backup up contacts/calendar events and resync the phone without a problem.
For some reason now I CANNOT clear the data I am seeking to clear...although various Calendar and Contacts options in "Manage Applications" permit me to "Clear Data" the data doesn't seem to clear. Also, with the Gmail app, when I navigate to "Manage Applications" I CANNOT GET the option to 'Clear Data" for Gmail. Even if I force close the app, the "Clear Data" option is greyed out.
So, short of a factory reset (or throwing the phone into a river), is there anything I can do??
