as the title says. i checked the linked bug report thread and tried to find any other associated fixes...no dice.
checked my phone, don't even have the process listed. now feeling impotent

this has come up a couple of times for me and caused incredible battery drain. Usually when ive sent an image via facebook messenger or used cam scanner. Rebooting never temporarily fixed it for me, and the only solution was to uninstall those apps. So, very happy google are onto this.

If its a hardware issue with your device as you seem to believe in this post, a software solution wont fix it.

Lets keep this thread to the designated topic though, a camera bug and its impending resolution

Now then, this is interesting, I never use my camera much but did this morning and have noticed remarkable battery drain today. Couldn't figure out for the life of me why (used my phone less than usual today)
