Has anyone had luck with the new google keyboard's shortcuts option? I put a few into the personal dictionary but it's not filling them in for me. I tried out and Ipad which I hated but the keyboard shortcuts was the one thing I actually liked!

I got it. didn't think to look at the suggestions. was just assuming it would work like the shortcuts on the ipad where you put in the shortcut and hit space to fill in your choice. I still think it is awesome!
