On turning on my phone just now, I saw a notification that several apps were being automatically updated but thought nothing of it as this is quite a frequent occurrence. When I then opened Facebook and began to type a reply to someone's post, I found a horrible new keyboard! Being quite happy with, and used to, the old version I clicked in the notifications and found, amongst the updated apps, Google Keyboard and immediately clicked to delete all updates which, thankfully, restored my old keyboard.
Unfortunately, I now feel vibrations when I press the keys!
I have two questions:
Firstly, how do I turn off the vibrations; I cannot find the Google Keyboard in 'apps'?
Secondly, is it possible to turn off automatic updates, at least for certain apps? I'd much rather they'd ask me and give me the opportunity of choosing.
I'd be very grateful for any advice.
