Google Listen Replacement

I have been using Google Listen for about and I really like the interface but I have been having trouble with it crashing one or two times a day. I would like to find a podcast app with a similar set of features. I downloaded a couple of other podcast apps and found that they were slavishly following the itunes/iOS model. The apps only organized podcasts by feed and there was no easy way to look at all the new episodes from all subscribed podcasts.

I am looking for really three key features from google listen: a list of the most recently downloaded/posted and unlistened episodes that I can easily send to a queue, syncing with a google reader account, and the ability to easily jump forward by approximately 30 seconds in a podcast. Is there a podcast app that has all of those features and is more stable than google listen? Free is a plus but not essential.

I've been using Google Listen for about a year, and really tried to stick with it, but in the past month it would download half episodes, crash in the middle of episodes, and a number of other errors. So this week I've been trying BeyondPod (free for the "lite" version, there is a paid pro version). The interface is much clunkier than Listen, but it seems to actually work well.

Others here have recommended Doggcatcher, but I haven't tried that one.

I know this is kind of a dumb question, but is there a way to get Listen to actually download the podcasts to my phone? Right now I can only get it to stream them, which sucks because I have an hour commute by subway.

So I guess I misunderstood the "lite" version of Beyondpod -- it's actually just a trial version. Kind of misleading.

I've never heard of Podcat, but notice it has pretty low ratings, so I'm a little wary. Does it have all the same functions as a Listen? And does anyone have an opinion on aCast?

aCast is ok apart from two bugs. First, when you click a menu sometimes it takes you somewhere different at random

Second, mine stops playing at 40 minutes sometimes and I have to press play again.

Oh and the interface is meh
