Help Google Maps 5.0 Installation Unsuccessful

Hi all

I recently purchased a google nexus s from best buy, and as i started exploring android 2.3, i realized that google maps was not updated to the new version 5.0

I opened marketplace and downloaded the new maps 5.0. It downloaded without any issues, however the installation failed without giving any errors or clues.

So i searched everywhere and almost everyone suggested to uninstall the current google maps and install the new one. So i uninstalled maps using Titanium Backup, restarted the phone, and tried installing maps 5.0 without any success.

I also tried reinstalling the previous version without any success either. So im stuck now with no google maps and i dont know what to do.

I have a rooted Nexus s
Android 2.3 Gingerbread

If anyone have any idea how to fix this please let me know

Just push the new Maps.apk with adb

I got it working,
what i basically did is reset my phone and erased everything. Once the phone restarted i was able to install maps and everything else without any trouble.
