Help google maps 5 3d not working

so the new update to google maps is supposed to allow the 3d thing but i cant seem to get this to work. when i slide my fingers nothing happens. i uninstalled it and reinstalled it but it still doesnt work and i restarted my phone but still nothing. anybody know whats up?

it only works in a few cities and they are all major cities, if you click on the help button in the app it will take you to a list and you can see if yours is included

Unless the 3D is not supported on my Droid1, I am having the same issue. I can scroll two fingers down the screen and the map will tilt but none of the cities listed in the Help Section will show the 3D buildings for some reason.

Did an "Uninstall Updates" for Google Maps from the Market, rebooted, re-installed the update. Rebooted again and now the 3D feature works like a charm. Just make sure that you go into the Layers and uncheck all the choices. If any layer is checked 3D will not work.
