Google Maps Application No Longer an Option in Web Browser!

[jrpineda11]

I have an HTC evo 4G LTE and I noticed that if I look something up on the Web browser like a location for instance and I click get directions on the Web browser it no longer gives me the option to open up the maps application. Does anyone know why this is? Someone please help!

Has it been set to default open the browser and not Maps? You can check this in settings/applications, then go to the browser app. In the part where you can uninstall, clear data, clear cache, down the bottom should be any defaults that have been set. You can clear them from there.

Not sure if this is the problem, but worth having a look.
