Google Maps Directions

Hi,

Does Google Map (Mobile) come with Routing (directions)? I'm using Android Platform v 8 and I'd like to include a feature that enables retrieving directions from A to B.

Yes, it gives you constantly updated turn by turn directions, voice directions with street names, a map that moves as you do, and will update directions if you miss a turn or decide to take a different route. So it's as good (and in my opinion, better) as any dedicated satnav device like a TomTom or a Garmin out there.

It does have some minor eccentricities, such as a fixation on using freeways, and it likes to try to route me to the alley behind my apartment building when I'm headed for home.

It also has problems if it can't get a data connection, as I discovered this evening.

It does not work everywhere. For example, my country is not supported.
