Help Google Maps GPS Incorrect

So for some reason my google maps program shows an incorrect gps position for my current location. It has me like 6 streets over . Anybody have any idea as to why this is occirring and how to go about fixing it?

Go into settings, then Location & security, make sure Use GPS satellites is checked. If you have only "Use wireless networks" checked, you're only doing aGPS (triangulation via cell towers), which would be far less accurate.

Ya im stupid. I completley forgot that i turned the gps off to save battery. Im loving this street level stuff though right on my phone. My blackberrys nor the Palm Pre could do this and I really wasnt expecting the moment too either and its fast.

Mine is like a block off still. Goggle Sky Map is waaaaay off! Is it better to have both GPS and wireless networks checked or just the GPS on?

Only GPS is best. Having the wireless on too will affect the accuracy.
