Google Maps - Multiple Locations for Navigation

I just got the new version of Google Maps and I have previously read that the app (in US) now allows me to navigate to multiple destinations but I don't see how to do it. If you can help me with instructions I would appreciate it.

That's called waypoints, and there's currently no way to do that on Google Navigation.

The Mapquest app (free at the Play store) allows you to edit the route once you've told it to go there, then add destinations (which are waypoints).

I was told that the upgrade issued this week allowed the waypoints but you may be right since I can't see any way of doing it.

It's web based Google Maps.

Have a look at the app BestRoute, it let you place waypoints and uses Goggle Maps to navigate to them.

Waze allow you to set your destination and intermediate destinations as well. I highly recommend Waze. I use it as my go to navigation app all the time.
