Google Maps Nav Voice interupts my Bluetooth Music due to "Mute" instead of "Off"

When i am using Google Maps i prefer not to have the voice on at all but the only option i see if "Mute".

When im listening to music from my phone via bluetooth car stereo the Sat Nav voice will still inturupt my music with silence. (silence due to mute) with the directions of the next turn ect.

This is a real pain in the ***

Is there any way of switching off the voice so that it doesn't interupt at all?

It happens to me, with volume up. It will dim the music when it's time to turn or whatnot. I don't mind it, it doesn't bother me. However I can see how it would be annoying in your scenario . But I don't have any solution to offer.
