Google Maps Navigation brings up VZ Navigator now

Hi all,

I have been using Maps and Navigation until my trip this week when now it automatically brings up VZ Navigator instead of Maps Navigation, remembered Maps was recently updated so tried to uninstall the updates and that made no difference. Tried just starting the blue arrow icon for Navigation and it also starts up VZ Navigator.

Is my free navigation gone forever?

Still works for me on my rooted stock 2.2 Incredible. Hadn't used it for a while so I just went to check. Odd that.

This is a guess: Settings > Applications > Mange Applications > VZ (or whatever its name is) > scroll down > untick it as default. Then navigate again and it should ask you which app to use, where you can select a new default app.
