Google Maps - phone not sleeping

Hi,

I have a problem with my Android (2.3.6 on Nexus S) - not sleeping. Usually (got the phone for 7 days) it`s ok, but after last two nights, I realised the it didn`t sleep at all since I got to bed. Yesterday, after I restarted the phone, everything went OK, but this morning I saw the phone wasn`t sleeping - he was up all night ... The app showing as the most used in battery use are google maps and I lost 3 times the battery I used to lose - about 30 percent instead of some 8-12. Also in the stats, the maps app says it was preventing sleep for 8h 25 min ...

Here is the reason (NetworkLocationPassiveCollector wakelock since 6.0 update - Maps Help). Solution at the moment - revert the maps app to factory state (remove updates from the maps app).
