Google maps street view question.

Hi guys,

How come there is no blue line marker pointing you in the right direction in google maps street view on my sg3?

Its still there when using street view on a pc. A very useful feature. Now, you just have pegman but no blue directional marker using android mobile.

Anyone know why?

Cheers in advance

Are you talking about the arrows used to advance up or down the road?

On Android you can double tap on the area "up the street" and street view will advance to that spot. The most you can advance seems to be 100 yards or less, so don't get your hopes up about jumping a mile down the road.

Also, you can pinch to zoom in and out to inspect areas/objects on the side of the road.

Also, no Pegman in the overview. You have to longpress on a street, tap the pop up bubble that appears, and if street view is available, the icon will be bold.

If you are not getting street view at all on your phone, make sure you installed the street view app from the Play store. Once installed, it will not show up in your app drawer. It only enables the functions I have listed above.

And last but not least - Welcome to the forums!
