Google Maps update

Hello,

I just got a Samsung Galaxy SL I9003. The model number is GT-I9003MKDXFE. I need to update the Google Maps to 5.7 but each time Market is saying "This app is incompatible with your ....".

However my other phone which is a Galaxy mini is updated and no issues.

How can I update the SL GTI9003? Is there another way to perform this update without going to Android MArket. Have tried all different ways and means in my knowledge but am always failing. Please Help.

Thanks,

Your other device is irrelevant. If your device doesn't meet the requirements then you'll have this problem. If you want to try to load it anyway then you'll need to find the APK.

Hi thanks for your reply,

What makes you say that the device does not meet the requirements. Is it because of the last 3 Alphanumeric at the end of the Model number "XFE". If this is so then maybe I should contact the locale Samsung reseller.

Where can i find a genuine apk for google maps?

Thanks
