Is there any way to select what Maps has in it? I really don't need local restaurants and entertainment, 3d maps, traffic, and all the other stuff.
Just maps alone is fine. I live in this stupid town so I know what's available, I know where and when to avoid traffic, I just need updates of new streets.
I'm not doing Latitude or location.
Even when we go on vacation - neither of us are foodies and entertainment doesn't tell you where the local supermarket is.
Just in case you are wondering - we prefer to get a motel with a mw and fridge and eat food we have control over. National Parks - Geological information and hikes, lots of photography and nature watching, and clear dark skies at night for astronomy. That's our idea of entertainment.
I've tried freezing maps, but that buggers the weather map slightly.
I've looked, and see no way to check or uncheck what you don't need.
