Help GOOGLE Market

I'm just curious as to why you would need to switch to the old one. I've tinkered with a cheapo tablet that required the old google market and some fancy timing to gain root access, but don't know of anything on the prevail.

If you're having the issue where google play won't show you your purchased apps, it seems to work better if you go through the setup and log in, let it update all the way to the regular store homepage, then reboot the phone.

Only way to revert would be to reset your phone. Everything will be wiped and you'll be set back to factory... but as soon as you log back into google your market will be updated to the latest version.

Probably not the solution you wanted.

The only way that I'm aware of to get google market and STAY on market (not update), is to revert to an Android 2.2 rom. As long as you're on a Froyo rom you'll not update but on Gingerbread your market will be updated. If it is otherwise someone let me know.

Good luck.

Thats strange. Wonder why it didnt work

Once you install it, you will see the good
old "Market" with old icon in your app list.
Drag that to your desktop and remove the
Google Play and presto...
