Google Memo on PC

'Memo' is a stock Google droid app. It has a sync function so I can send my memos way up in the cloud, but I can't get them back down. I apparently have to use Google Drive or Google Keep or Google Docs or Google Something that has no direct relation to the wonderfully simple Memo app. Memo really should come up as a subwindow of the PC Google Calendar, like Tasks always has.

I wound up trying and keeping InkPad Notepad, for now. It works fine but it requires a separate app on the droid and a separate website on the PC. And of course, it constantly wants me to buy things until I pay money for it.

Am I missing the magic link to easily see Google Memo on my PC browser?
 
After searching for "Google Memo" app - I am going to guess that this is an app put on your phone by your manufacturer and not Google. I've never seen on any of my Android devices including a Nexus 5. Plus Google's solution for note taking is Google Keep. While it isn't beyond Google to have 2 different products do the same thing, the product that am I aware that is similar is Google Notebook which they shuttered year ago. I am also not finding it on Google's Product and Services Page

Anyway like I said, sounds like this is a manufacturer app which probably means it has ties to the manufacturer's cloud solution which is where you might find a PC extension. Either that or their solution was tying it Google's app so you can modify from the PC. Personally I like Keep and heck it is so simple even my wife uses it.
 
Quite odd. I believe you must be right about 'Memo' not being from Google, but from LG, the source of my droid. 'Memo' doesn't even show up when I look in AppMonster or my file managers. Oh well, guess I'll hang onto Inkpad, now that I've grown accustomed to it.
 
But, having finally tried it, Keep really is quite cool. And it's so easy to use, I might be your wife. Having said that, I'll stick with Inkpad.
 
But again, growing weary of the ads, I checked its price – twenty bucks per year! ...off to try Keep again.
 
I use Keep for quick short term types of notes that I will want to reference later. Todo lists and other things to follow up on. Basically a digital sticky note or note on a pinboard.

I also use OneNote for things I am going to keep on a more permanent basis - like a cook book or how to do things that I will want to reference every now and then. Basically a collection of notes that need more organization like a notebook.

A third alternative that I used before Keep is Colornote which is also a pretty good note taking app but didn't have web access when Keep came out. It looks like they do now but I think Keep is more robust in the types of notes you can take (pictures, audio notes, etc) and what you do with them for reminders and such.
 
OK, yeah I use my grocery list app for a lot of extra stuff besides grocery lists, kind of similar to how you're using a memo app. I love how we have almost limitless options for things!
 
I also use GoTasks to have tasks on my droid show up on my PC's Google Calendar task list. I use it for short reminders, Google Keep for longer stuff (starting yesterday). For even longer, real documents, I just store then in a DropBox folder.
