Help Google Messenger App - Group Message "Not Sent"

For the past week any time that I send a group text I get the message "Not Sent. Tap to try again". The message has been sent and the other people get them, but that message keeps popping up and asking me to try again anyway. I have tried to delete the cache and data for that app, but it did not stop that from happening. Any other suggestions? I am able to send text messages to single recipients without any issuess.

Exact same issue here. LG Nexus 5X on version 7.1.2.

Have you tried Textra?

Have you checked APN settings?

Anyone in the group have an iPhone?
