I have a LG G4 and I was using Google Hangouts for my messaging app, but it was extraordinarily laggy with group messages and was not working out for me so I switched over to Google Messenger about a month ago.
In the past couple of days randomly when I send text messages I will get the Not Sent notification as well as a thing that flashes on the bottom that says something like "Can't Send Message Card 1, Error -1." The message never says sent and when I retry to send I get that same message.
The really weird thing is that it actually is sending the message every time! If I resend it people end up with the same message over and over because I am never quite sure if it is or isn't sending. This is getting super frustrating and I am not sure how to fix it. I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling, deleting messages, removing battery and sim card and putting them back, restarting the phone. Anyone else had this issue that may know how to fix it?
