Google Music Android App recently added playlist

On my droid x in the google music app my recently added playlist never changes. For some reason it lists all songs. I tried changing the weeks on it and it didn't do anything. I have been using google music since the middle of may so all my songs shouldn't be listed there. Does anyone else have this problem?
 
The android music 'system' is something that needs an overhaul, seriously.

Try going in settings / manage apps, go in media storage & clear the cache. Maybe even clear the app data (start afresh). Maybe you could also unmount / re-mount the SD card, so that the media library will rebuild itself. Be patient while it rebuilds, on my phone it takes about 15 - 20 mins (about 14gb music).

Doing the above usually sorts things out. Alas, I have music in mp3 AND AAC & for some reason Android music doesn't like AAC tags (mp3s are fine). Sometimes it will make a mess of compilations (mix CDs) & duplicate them, so I have to do the steps above.

Even cheapo mp3 players behave better than this, it's the one thing that let's Android down.
 
It's not the android music system I mean the new google music beta. Its an entirely different app and its run mostly from the cloud other than the songs that you personally added to your phone and not onto google music.
 
I have the same problem. I have been using Google Music for about two weeks. It works great on the web but the app only shows music preloaded on my phone. It doesn't show any of the cloud music.

This morning I even tried clearing the cache and reinstalling the app.
